Magazines Interested in Very Short Fiction

I put together this list first by noting any magazine I’ve encountered in my own research that has a good contest for shorties or specifically requests shorties in their general guidelines; then I added any new title I discovered in The Best Small Fictions 2015 and 2016.

My personal list is much shorter, because I submit to a magazine only if I like the fiction it publishes AND I think my work might fit with the magazine’s aesthetic. Apply your own criteria to this list to identify your target markets.
